          British born Tim Street-Porter is an internationally recognized photographer who lives and works in Los Angeles, with a second home in Connecticut. He began his career in London.

          In 1967, he went to Paris to photograph some interiors and inflatable furniture and sold his work to Queen Magazine which gave him a 5 page spread. Street-Porter spent 10 years working in London before visiting Los Angeles in early ‘70’s.

          He fell in love with LA and decided to make it his home in 1977.

          Tim Street-Porter is unique among photographers in that he not only applauded for his architect’s eye but also for his interest in writing about design.
